CIRCUIT Survey – Circularity of transport infrastructures

The lifecycle of transport infrastructure is a complex process involving various stakeholders in design, construction, transport, use, maintenance, demolition, and waste management. Circularity principles should ensure:

• The use of raw and secondary materials with a low environmental footprint,
• Minimizing the overall amount of virgin raw materials,
• Minimizing the overall embodied energy and water consumption,
• Ensuring the reusability or recyclability of construction works.

By answering this survey, you will help us identify motivations, barriers, and gaps for the effective implementation of circularity principles in transport infrastructures.
