Last week, we had the chance to explore a remarkable test site at Lopik, located just 25 km from our Oostmolendijk Pilot 3 site! Here, GEOSAFE has deployed their powerful trencher to implement mixed-in-place technology, achieving impressive soil mixing depths of up to 15 meters.

This visit offered CIRCUIT partners—the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb and INGEO—a unique opportunity to assess the potential for applying this advanced technique at our own Oostmolendijk site. The focus remains firmly on sustainable soil improvement, looking at how this method could enhance soil stability while aligning with environmental goals.
